Frequently asked questions (FAQ)

Answers to the most common questions about the SonaMotion AI phone assistant for dealerships, workshops and service businesses.

What is an AI phone assistant?

An AI phone assistant is voice-driven software that answers incoming calls, understands the caller's request in natural language and passes it in structured form into systems such as a DMS, CRM or calendar. It replaces hold queues, full voicemail boxes and rigid IVR menus.

Which businesses is SonaMotion built for?

SonaMotion is built specifically for car dealerships, workshops, service centres and fleet providers. The assistant knows the typical workflows around service intake, appointment booking, parts enquiries, breakdowns and callbacks.

Which DMS platforms are supported?

SonaMotion connects to FILAKS.PLUS, LOCOSOFT, CROSS, Vector, soft.nrg and GNS Systems, among others. Appointments, parts enquiries and callback requests are written straight into the DMS or the calendar (Google, Microsoft 365, iCal/CalDAV).

How quickly is SonaMotion up and running?

The assistant is usually productive within a few working days. Voice, opening hours, transfers and standard dialogues are configured during onboarding; DMS connections follow depending on the interface.

Is SonaMotion multilingual?

Yes. The assistant detects the caller's language automatically and answers in more than 90 languages, including English, German, French and Italian - including dealership and workshop terminology.

How is data protection handled?

SonaMotion is hosted in the EU; conversations and data are transmitted and stored encrypted. Access is role-based. On request we provide data processing agreements and a technical security concept.

What happens in emergencies or breakdowns?

The assistant recognises keywords such as breakdown, accident or emergency, prioritises those calls and forwards them immediately to the number on file or to an on-call service. A structured ticket is created in parallel.

Does the assistant replace our service team?

No. SonaMotion handles the first level - standard requests, appointment booking, callbacks, parts enquiries - and hands more complex cases to the team with full context. Your service team gains time for advice and workshop processes.

What does SonaMotion cost?

SonaMotion is billed as a monthly package - from Starter Lite to Enterprise - based on call volume, locations and depth of integration. You receive concrete pricing in a personal quote after a short needs analysis.

Can I test the assistant first?

Yes. You can request a live demo on a test number and try the assistant with real scenarios from your business before deciding.
